Thank you for your interest in the University of Wyoming College of Law. This law school is a unique institution with a rich tradition of academic excellence. As you weigh your options, I encourage you to consider the many advantages of a Wyoming legal education.
Among the law school’s strengths is its size. One should not come to Wyoming expecting to be a face in the crowd. With only 225 carefully selected students (about 75-80 in each first-year class), Wyoming’s law school is among the country’s smallest. In a short time, you will come to know all of your professors and classmates. Be prepared for active engagement in an academic environment that is intellectually vigorous and challenging, yet informal and friendly. It’s the kind of place where students safely leave personal belongings in open carrels in the library and regularly converse with their professors both inside and outside the classroom.
Please read more about us and find out if the University of Wyoming College of Law is right for you. If you have questions, we would be pleased to try to answer them. Feel free to call me at (307) 766-6416.
