Tawnya Plumb joined the law library in 2004 as the Electronic Services Librarian.  In this position Tawnya manages the library catalog, updates library websites, and works with vendors to provide electronic resources to students and faculty.   In addition to offering reference service in the library, Tawnya will be teaching two sections of legal research for first year students.

Before coming to the College of Law, Tawnya worked as a law librarian at Hughes & Luce, LLP and at the Texas State Law Library.   She also spent three years teaching abroad through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program.

Tawnya is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries where she serves on the Bylaws committee. She also participates in the Western Pacific chapter of AALL and serves on the Public Relations committee.
