Michael Duff was appointed as a University of Wyoming College of Law Assistant Professor this year.  He will teach the course in Labor Law and has also been actively engaged in assisting with the development of a comprehensive academic support program at the College of Law.

Professor Duff has spent his entire legal career advocating on behalf of working people.  Before joining the UW faculty, Professor Duff spent nine years working as a field and trial attorney for the National Labor Relations Board in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Prior to that, he worked for two years as an attorney for the law firm of McTeague, Higbee & Mac Adam of Topsham, Maine.

Before undertaking the study of law, Duff was for eleven years a union shop steward and blue collar worker in the airline industry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Duff's writing will focus on collective workplace rights and a variety of issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act.
