UW Northern Rockies INBRE
The goal of the University of Wyoming Northern Rockies INBRE is to continue to build on the accomplishments achieved through the NIH BRIN Phase I program that was initiated in September 2001. This program resulted in a comprehensive plan to increase the competitiveness of investigators at UW in obtaining funding from the NIH. The plan also includes efforts to provide research opportunities for undergraduates at UW and the state's community colleges through scholarships and technology upgrades, as well as to establish research and mentoring opportunities for faculty through a Visiting Senior Scientist program.
