ID Card Uses

 

The WyoOne ID card is the official identification card for the University of Wyoming.  It is used for both access and debit functions across campus by students, employees, cooperating agency employees, appointed personnel, and their spouses and dependent children.

Students:
 Full-Time and Part-Time Benefited students use their WyoOne ID card for: 

  • athletic events

  • recreation facilities

  • Student Health Service and Pharmacy

  • University Libraries

  • Washakie Dining Room (for students with meal plan contracts)

  • secure residence hall entry  (for hall residents)

  • check writing privileges on campus

  • use of the debit card features

Part-Time students use their WyoOne ID card for:

  • purchase of recreation access

  • check writing privileges on campus

  • University Libraries 

  • Washakie Dining Room (for students with meal plan contracts)

  • use of the debit card features

UW Employees, Cooperating  Agency & Appointed Employees:

UW faculty and staff may use their WyoOne ID card to:

  • write checks on campus 
  • use library services
  • use the debit card features
  • purchase recreation access through Half Acre, West Entrance

  • UW benefited faculty and staff may receive a discount on season tickets for football, women's basketball and men's basketball; or individual football and men's basketball tickets purchased prior to game day.  Present your  valid WyoOne ID card to the Athletic Ticket Office when purchasing your game ticket. (For information call 307-766-2148 or visit their website at Wyoming Athletics.) 

Cooperating Agency and Appointed Persons may use their WyoOne ID card to:

Spouses & Dependents:

 All spouses and dependents may: 

  • purchase recreation access through Half Acre, West Entrance (For information call 307-766-5586 or visit their website at UW Recreation and Wellness.)

Spouses & dependents of benefited UW students may:

  • purchase access by the semester or annually to athletic games at substantial savings in conjunction with their WyoOne ID card. (For information call 307-766-2148 or visit their website at Wyoming Athletics.)
  • use library services
  • use the debit card feature
