Concluding Thursday, April 24 with Guest Editor Clark Walworth, Casper Star-Tribune
Facilitator: Angus Thuermer, Jr, Co-Editor, Jackson Hole News and Guide
Brown Bag Lunch Conversations—Coffee Provided
Noon to 1:30 p.m., Teton County Library
Bring a brown bag lunch and join us for a noon conversation, tracking print and online news with local editors and occasional visiting editors, journalists, and scholars. Whether you read newspapers online or in hand, you’ll be intrigued as we cover local, state, national and international issues on a monthly basis. Take some time from work or leisure for consideration of our lives, communities, and world as reflected from a variety of print perspectives—the Jackson Hole News and Guide, Planet Jackson Hole, The Casper Star-Tribune, the New York Times, or Wall Street Journal. There’s no need for advance preparation. Grab a newspaper or your laptop, or read the papers at the library. Participate with informal lunchtime reading, listening, or discussing of WHAT’S NEWS?
Presented by the Wyoming Humanities Council and Co-sponsored by the Teton County Library, Jackson Hole News and Guide, and Planet Jackson Hole.
