The Humanities Forum features programs by outstanding presenters who travel throughout Wyoming to speak at meetings and special events. Each presenter engages the audience in an active discussion of his or her topic. Not-for-profit groups and public agencies may host up to two Humanities Forum programs per year. The only cost to the host organization is a $50 application fee; all other speaker expenses are covered by the council. Programs must be free and open to the public.
In honor of the 2007-08 Wyoming tour of the Smithsonian exhibition Between Fences, the forum features seven special programs that explore fences and borders as part of the Wyoming landscape; as real or invisible dividing lines in Wyoming history; and as metaphors for social and national boundaries.
You will receive confirmation of your program booking within approximately one week.
