Social Work Field Coordinator, Academic Professional, Extended-Term Position, full year appointment; University of Wyoming (Laramie, WY).  The Division of Social Work provides MSW and BSW education. Seeking MSW social worker with extensive practice experience to provide administrative leadership and coordination of Field Program for undergraduate and graduate students.

Requirements: 1) earned MSW in social work CSWE-accredited institution or equivalency determined by CSWE; 2) at least 3 years post-MSW practice; 3) experience in Field Instruction, and 4) paid experience in social work administrative position. Preference given to applicants with 1) an earned doctorate in social work or related discipline; 2) more than 8 years experience in the social work/human services field, 3) agency experience practicing in rural or Western or Frontier communities, and 4) some previous university field instruction experience. Preference also given for experience teaching using e-delivery and distance instructional methods.

Responsibilities: 1) Coordination of the Field Practicum program in the Division at both undergraduate and graduate levels; 2) delivering support field seminars connected to practicum level, managing any stipend grant or contract programs in the Division related to Field Practicums; and 3) participating in division, college, university, and community activities. Additional responsibilities may include student advising, serving on graduate research committees, conducting field visits, and participating in curriculum development. Courses are often delivered weekends and evenings. On-line teaching and use e-delivery are expected.
