PURPOSE
Create and maintain digital drawings, including campus and other maps, signs and graphics; assist with maintenance of facilities records and drawings including space allocation; assist with design work for facilities including site survey field work, verification of building conditions and production of construction documents under the direction of Facilities Planning architects and engineers; assist with design and maintenance of department’s web pages; and provide production services including AutoCAD drawing printing and editing and arranging for printing and reproduction of drawings, graphics and text.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Produce AutoCAD drawings and computer graphics for existing facilities.
Verify existing site and building drawings and facilities room inventory; check jobs for correct processing, as instructed.
Assist with design of in-house construction projects.
Design and maintenance of web site and online resources.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Produce and display graphic arts and signs.
Organize and access facilities records and drawing archives.
Provide drawing and document printing and reproduction services.
May instruct and train others in methods and procedures of operating computer systems.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION OR OTHER REQUIREMENT:
A valid driver’s license is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office/outside campus environment; regular exposure to video terminal displays; and occasionally subject to mechanical and electrical hazards.
