Wednesday, Sept. 13, 5 p.m. -- UW Department of History's annual Cone Lecture series, "35 Years of American Indian History at the University of Wyoming." College of Agriculture auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 14, 4 p.m. -- UW American Studies Program and Amnesty International present author Timothy B. Tyson, reading from his work, "Blood Done Sign My Name," College of Business auditorium. Free.

Art exhibitions, Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. -- "Fred Sandback: Sculpture and Related Works"; "Hung Liu and Rene Yung, The Vanishing: Re-presenting the Chinese in the American West"; "Lifeways of the Crow: The Peter W.
