U.S.-Canada Relations Subject of Friday Talk

March 21, 2007 -- Two officials from the Canadian Consulate General in Denver will discuss U.S.-Canada relations Friday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in the University of Wyoming Union West Yellowstone Ballroom.

The speakers are Inta Morris, political, academic, and economic affairs officer, and Marc Boucher, consul for general relations. Prior to the public talk, they will hold an open meeting from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Big Horn Room (Wyoming Union Room 203).

"The meeting is for anyone interested in working with Canadian partners in research, academic exchange, or other similar endeavors," says Shawn Bunning, UW International Programs project coordinator. "The discussion will include information on possible funding sources and on identifying partner institutions in Canada."

The Canadian Consulate General in Denver is part of a network of Canadian government representation in the United States, which includes the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C., 10 consulates general and three Canadian Consulate trade offices. The Denver office covers the Rocky Mountain states of Colorado, Montana, Utah and Wyoming.
