Nellie Tayloe Ross Documentary to Air Thursday

March 13, 2007 -- A documentary profiling Nellie Tayloe Ross of Wyoming, the first female governor in U.S. history, will air on KCWC, Wyoming Public Television, Thursday, March 15, at 7 p.m.

“Nellie Tayloe Ross: A Governor’s Journey,” is based on material from the Nellie Tayloe Ross collection at the University of Wyoming American Heritage Center. Ross became governor following the death of her husband, Wyoming Governor William B. Ross, in 1924.
