Membership criteria

Students

Nominees for student membership are selected based upon grade point.  We may invite the top 15% of the seniors (undergraduate students with at least 90 hours for GPA ).   We also invite graduate students with at least 12 semester hours at UW and a grade point of at least 3.5.  The executive committee will present a list of eligible student candidates at the membership meeting.

Faculty /Staff Members

Nominees for faculty/staff membership should have been engaged in work in agriculture or related areas at the University for at least three years and have shown exceptional ability as teachers, investigators or administrators.  Nominations must include a resume.

Alumni Members

Alumni of the University of Wyoming or graduates of other institutions that offer comparable degrees, who are residents of Wyoming, have rendered signal service to the cause of agriculture and who have been graduated at least five years prior to election are eligible for membership.  Nominations should be made in writing.
