Ronald E. Beiswenger is a Professor
in Geography and Recreation with
a
PhD in ecology. Dr. Beiswenger's
primary interests are environmental
science, natural resource management
and biogeography. His current research
activities include studies of mechanisms
for the evaluation and protection
of endangered species, aquatic
ecosystem investigations, and the
analysis of water-resource management
alternatives in the arid regions
of the western US. In 1983, Dr.
Beiswenger received the Ellbogen
Meritorious Classroom Teaching
Award.
