About Us
As a student voice of UW, Cowboy Call plays a vital role in reconnecting,
establishing, and maintaining relationships with alumni, parents, and
friends who generously support the University of Wyoming through
Annual Giving. Enthusiastic and proud UW
students gather to offer University of Wyoming supporters the
opportunity to share college memories, to find out what’s new on campus,
and to hear about current events. In addition, supporters of UW can offer
an annual gift for direct support of UW’s colleges, departments, and
programs. Each year, thousands of generous donors provide gifts to the
university through Cowboy Call alone.

Meet our Cowboy Callers
Cowboy Callers are students who come from across the nation and all
walks of life. Students representing UW colleges speak with
approximately 60,000 alumni, parents, and friends of the university each
year. You may be one of those contacted by a Cowboy Call student in connection with
UW Annual Giving,
which provides direct support to student programs, colleges, and departments.
A visit with a Cowboy Caller means:
The opportunity for alumni, parents and friends of UW to ask questions,
share memories of campus, receive updates, and hear about current events
at UW.
The opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends of UW to update
demographic information. Stay connected—don’t miss out on exciting UW
news and events!
The opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends of UW
to offer annual gifts for direct support of the colleges, departments,
and programs that have a daily impact on students' lives.
Join our team
Cowboy Call has undergone ground-breaking changes for the fall of 2009.
Innovative hardware and software are just a few of the many new
enhancements. Students enjoy the many benefits of the new program: flexible scheduling,
competitive pay, incentive programs, holidays and spring break off, and the
opportunity to make contacts and to build your resume.
Cowboy Call thoroughly reviews student applications before interviews are
scheduled. Interviews consist of both a phone interview and a one-on-one
interview with the program director and supervisor(s). If you meet the
minimum qualifications, you will be
contacted to schedule a phone interview. Cowboy Call encourages students
with strong communication skills and professional attitudes and those who
are enthusiastic.
If you wish to apply for a Cowboy Call position, please fill out an
online application.
