UW Trustees Approve Personnel Items |

March 7, 2008 -- University of Wyoming trustees approved the following personnel items during their meeting today (Friday).
Administrative Appointments:
Pilar Flores as director of Student Educational Opportunity. She received her B.S. degree in anthropology from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and an M.A. in biological anthropology from Colorado State University.
Faculty Appointments:
Felipe Pereira as professor in the Department of Mathematics. Pereira received a B.S. in physics from Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil, an M.S. in mathematics from New York University and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Changes in Appointments:
Andrew Hansen from professor to associate dean in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.
