The John P. Ellbogen Foundation committed $1 million to the University of Wyoming, bringing the Ellbogen Foundation’s total donations to UW since 2001 to more than $1.6 million.
Helga and Erivan Haub gifted $3 million to the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR).
Bob and Carol Berry of Sheridan, Wyoming, gifted $1 million to UW (doubled to $2 million through the state match) to attract a nationally recognized scholar in the field of ecology.
To Bill Daniels, Wyoming holds special significance.
