Environment and Natural Resources |
| This FIG caters to a broad spectrum of interests because environmental and natural resources issues affect us all. Perhaps you are interested in a natural or physical science (such as botany, wildlife biology/management, rangeland ecology and watershed management, zoology, or geology). Maybe your interests lean more towards the social sciences or humanities (such as political science, international studies, economics). In the ENR FIG, students will develop an awareness of the complexity of ENR issues and their inherently interdisciplinary nature. Students will also develop an understanding of how their own education in a particular discipline can prepare them to make good decisions about ENR problems—whether as ENR professionals or just interested citizens. | |
