Mind, Brain, and Culture
Why do people act the way they do? How come children and adults often differ in the ways they think, behave, and react? Why do some people get nervous taking a test in a large group, but are at ease writing a paper at home alone? This FIG is for students interested in the differing behaviors and thinking of individuals, groups, and communities. Here is a chance to better understand yourself and the people around you. Students interested in psychology, sociology, anthropology, social work, counseling, or any of the social sciences and helping professions are especially encouraged to join this FIG.
