Gateway to the World
Students interested in international affairs, current events, global change, and a career that involves international travel and experiences will begin their academic work by acquiring a foundation in international studies. This FIG brings students together who have declared a major in international studies. The "I/L" course, INST 1010: Proseminar, includes talks by several of UW's best internationally-recognized faculty, acquaints students with international resources in the library and online, and informs them about study abroad, international internships, and Peace Corps opportunities.
