Livestock Processing

Livestock processing is used to enter measurement data and calculate rate of gain (ROG) contests.  Print show catalogs and exhibitor's lists in this section.

  • Rate of Gain Contest [pdf]
Information for rate of gain contests can be entered after the animals are weighed at the beginning of the year.  Ending weights are entered at the end of the contest.
  • Measurement Data [pdf]
Measurement data is used to input data such as ear tag numbers, measurement data such as animal weight and height, exhibitors' grade, or exhibitors' age.  This example uses animal weight and height to illustrate the process.
  • Livestock Judges' Call Sheet [pdf]
Two options are available for livestock judges' call sheets.  The call sheet can print ascending alphabetically or descending alphabetically by exhibitor name.
  • Build New Class & Item Class Transfer [pdf]
Use the Build New Class or the Item Class Transfer feature to divide a large class into two or more classes.
  • Show Catalog [pdf]
The show catalog contains information about all exhibitors in a class.  Many user prefer a different format for the show catalog.  Please refer to the Data Export utility tip sheet outlining how to export data.
  • Livestock Exhibitors' List [pdf]
The exhibitors' list is a report of all exhibitors by department with name, address, phone, club, and department information.
