ENHANCED OIL RECOVERY ENHANCES STATE'S ECONOMY

LARAMIE – Enhanced oil recovery could pump billions of dollars into the state’s economy, according to the director of the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute at the University of Wyoming.
EORI Director James Steidtmann told UW trustees in November that enhanced oil recovery could tap more than one billion barrels of “old” oil from existing Wyoming oil fields and could mean as much as $2 billion in revenue to the state in royalties and taxes over the next 20 years. Read the story.
