Submit the following information to apply for the Energy Summer Institute.

  2. Obtain two recommendations from a current teachers, counselor, coach, or youth-group leader.  At least one recommendation must be from a 9th grade teacher you had in the first semester or currently have now.  Letters of recommendation should be mailed under separate cover by the recommenders.

Write a letter of application.  In your letter, include the reasons for wanting to participate and an explanation of what you hope to grain from the experience.  Feel free to provide any background information about yourself that you feel is appropriate.  Letters that bring out the personal qualities sought by the SER will strengthen the application.
