An extensive schedule of extracurricular activities, including cultural and social events, will thoroughly engage your time, including weekends. Speakers, films, excursions, special workshops, plays, and concerts offer ongoing excitement - a hallmark of the university environment. A recreational field trip to Winter Park Resort Colorado is planned at the end of your two-week stay at UW. The School of Energy Resources will also host an evening dinner to give participants a chance to interact with SER staff and UW faculty in a casual setting.
You will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of recreational activities, including basketball, volleyball, swimming, softball, golf at the Jacoby Golf Course, and tennis while you are on campus. Participants have access to UW athletic facilities, including the swimming pool, weight room, aerobics room, and tennis courts, which are open daily. An introduction to the Half Acre Gym climbing wall is a popular activity.
