Consulting

My consulting activities focus on providing litigation support and expert testimony in antitrust cases. These cases involve violations of the Sherman, Clayton, and Robinson-Patman Acts, and related state legislation. My work deals with defining the market, calculating market shares, evaluating business conduct, and calculating damages. I also have experience in providing economic analysis for patent infringement cases.

The end of my vita lists recent cases for which I have been a consultant. My work covers a wide range of markets. They include energy, hospitals and medical devices, dog food, rock and roll music, and furniture. I have very good relationships with firms in the Rocky Mountains and Central United States. Recent and on-going work is with:

           Davis, Graham & Stubbs
Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens
           Jones & Keller
           Lewis Scheid
           Rothergerber Johnson & Lyons

I am usually active on two or three cases a year.

If a case requires large data sets and sophisticated statistical analysis, I am able to employ colleagues and advanced graduate students in the Department of Economics and Finance to help with the work.
