Room Reservation Information
Meeting rooms (Coe 307 and Coe 304) cannot be reserved after Friday, May 9, 2008 due to the remodeling of Coe Library.

Scheduling Events:  The room is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for faculty and staff events related to teaching and learning. The Ellbogen CTL is not available for use on Saturday or Sunday or before 8:00 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Please call 766-4847 to check dates and times of availability.  The Ellbogen CTL meeting rooms are equipped with overhead projectors, white boards, and Ethernet connections as well as the facilities mentioned below.

Coe 307:  The multipurpose meeting room can accommodate up to 40 people, with a podium laptop computer, ceiling projector, and a document camera. The computer runs common applications under Windows such as the Office suite, browsers, Acrobat Reader, RealPlayer, and so forth. (Other software could be installed on request.) This room offers wireless networking through Cisco 802.11b access points, and multi-site videoconferencing through a Tandberg 880 system for IP connections.  Click to see photo.

Coe 304:  The small meeting room can hold 10-15 people and has a built-in whiteboard.  Conference style seating is most comfortable in this room.

There are 60 chairs and 10 tables (2.5' X 8') available for use in either room.  Click to see photo.  You are welcome to change room arrangement, but we ask that you return the room to its original setup after your event is over.

Room Reservation Policies

Set-Up:  Please come early to set up the room according to your needs. Include set-up time when reserving the room.

Clean-up:  You are responsible for returning the room to its original condition; this includes disposing of garbage, ensuring that catering is cleaned-up, shutting down the computer/projector (if used), and returning tables and chairs to original arrangements. Allot clean-up time when reserving the room.

Refreshments
and Hospitality:  You are responsible for supplying coffee and any other refreshments that you wish to offer; please ask before you use the coffeemaker.  You may use the ECTL mugs if you kindly wash them (along with the coffee things) afterward.  We regret that our own work precludes us from performing host duties.

Catered Events:  Please make arrangements directly through UW Catering.

Supplies and/or Copies:  Please plan ahead to bring supplies and copies with you. There are no resources or support staff available through the Ellbogen CTL.

Phones and Conference Calls
:  In the multipurpose room (Coe 307), a speakerphone is available for conference calls. Please have your conference party call in or use a calling card to pay for your call. This phone can also be used for campus and local calls. Please make arrangements with Andy Bryson (766-2035) in advance, or reserve the item "Speaker Phone" through the Equipment Checkout page, to use the conference phone.

Instructional Technology and/or Audio/Visual Equipment:  If you need equipment other than the permanent fixtures listed above for the meeting rooms, you may reserve ours or bring your own. Help with setup is only available during Instructional Computing Services hours or by prior arrangement. Call 766-5499 for further information or assistance with other instructional technology needs. For audio/visual equipment needs, contact Instructional Media Services at 766-2035, in advance.
