Technologies Andy Bryson, ECTL Instructional Media Coordinator Scott Johnson, Info Tech Manager, Client Support Gary Boulware, Instructional Technology Manager Tuesday, September 11th, from 5:00—6:00 p.m. Andy, Scott, and Gary will demonstrate available technologies and discuss implications for student learning. They will provide advice on how to use technology in your classroom. This session will be held in the Classroom Building, Room 118. There will be no meal provided. Introduction to Online Course Supplements Robin Hill, ECTL, Coordinator of Instructional Computing Friday, October 12th, from Noon—1:00 p.m., Coe 307 Effective use of classroom technology can significantly increase student participation and learning. Robin will discuss two applications: course website creation and online platforms for supplements. Using a Course Website Dan May, Graduate Assistant, Mathematics Friday, November 16th, from Noon—1:00 p.m., Coe 307 Dan will share his experiences using self-created course websites and offer advice about how they can help increase student participation. Integrating Online Supplements Leann Kaiser, Graduate Assistant, Adult Learning & Technology Tuesday, January 22nd, from 5:00—6:00 p.m., Coe 307 Leann will discuss several features of online course supplements that lead to increased student engagement with a course.
