 Online Teaching Consultation

With the Coordinator of Instructional Computing, you discuss how you might, and if you should, use online resources such as a course website as a supplement to your classroom activities.

Step 1
Read the document "How Supplemental Online Courses Can Enhance Your Teaching,"
at http://www.uwyo.edu/ctl/Inst_Computing/SuppOnlnEnhance.html.

Step 2
Make an appointment with the Coordinator of Instructional Computing to discuss these ideas, or to develop others, adapted to your course materials and teaching needs.

How much time does it take?
One or two hours for the preliminary exploration, with further help available on request.

When does it occur?
Anytime, but exploration as a course is under design, reorganization, or preparation, is best.

How do teachers use the results?
To test the possible advantages of online delivery in the context of their own pedagogical methods.
