Laurie Milford interviewed the six case-study participants, wrote the drafts of their case studies, managed the revision process, and helped in the production of the book.  She assisted in the design and production of the website and CD. Jane Nelson co-authored the grant proposals, co-authored the introduction to the book, did much of the copyediting, and managed production of the book. Audrey Kleinsasser co-authored the grant proposals, co-authored the introduction to the book,  wrote the conclusion, and managed all of the faculty development events associated with this project. Audrey is director of the Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Wyoming.  dakota@uwyo.edu

Graphic Artists

Sara Schleicher created the artwork used on the front cover of the book and on the home page of this website. The image is one component of a sixteen-piece work metaphorically describing a psychosocial development theory. This work, Identity, is an intaglio print with watercolor completed in 2002. Sara is a senior at the University of Wyoming in the Department of Art with an emphasis on printmaking.

Elizabeth Ono Rahel designed the book and the cover. A graphic designer living in Laramie, Wyoming, she has completed many design projects for the University of Wyoming.

Technical Assistants

Andy Bryson assisted with videotaping, videoediting, and production of the CD. Andy is coordinator of Instructional Media Services in the Ellbogen Center

Curt Brimhall and Jerry Blackburn designed and produced the website and the CD. While working this project, they were seniors at the University of Wyoming in the Department of Computer Science and lab assistants with Instructional Computing Services in the Ellgoben Center.

Funding

Warming Up the Chill was funded by grants of $5,000 from the University of Wyoming President's Advisory Council for Minorities and Women's Affairs (PACMWA), $5,000 from the American Association of Higher Education (AAHE), and  $3,000 from the Northern Rockies Consortium for Higher Education (NORCHE). The Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning provided the remainder of the funding.
