Welcome to the Ride Share Message Board
To help people get to the conference economically we are
offering a message board to help match conference-goers. If
you’re traveling to the conference and would be interested in
sharing a ride, either as a rider or as a driver, please post
your information on the RideBoard.
Posting a new request will create a new thread on the RideBoard.
Each posting has links to let you reply to existing posts
(continue the thread) and navigate the request list.
Apply for Travel Funds
Need financial support to attend the Consumer Issues Conference?
Then fill out and return the Application for Travel Funds!
Priority will be given to registrants traveling distances,
carpooling, and/or staying in a hotel in Albany County. (Check
out the RideBoard above for carpooling). The amount awarded will
depend on the funds available. Applications may not be fully
funded. The awarded funds will be in the form of a reimbursement
– so keep your receipts! Deadline is Thursday, September 19th –
applications received after that have a lower likelihood of
being funded.
Applications for travel scholarships are due September 6. You
should be notified by September 10 (in time to register early
for the conference).
