of Wyoming, in Room 160 of the Health Sciences Center. The UW Clinic services include evaluation and treatment for disorders in communication, including speech, language, hearing, swallowing, voice, and stuttering. Speech-language services are also available for accent reduction, deviant swallowing patterns, consultations and screenings. Audiology services include hearing screenings, diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid repairs, counseling concerning assistive listening devices, making custom earplugs and hearing aid distribution. The Clinic also has a variety of listening devices available for purchase.The Division of Communication Disorders is an accredited graduate program by the Council of Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). The UW Clinic serves as a training facility for graduate students entering the fields of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. Services are provided by graduate student clinicians who are supervised by ASHA certified and state licensed speech-language pathologists and audiologists. The Clinic is open year-round from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but often follows the University's academic calendar for closures.
