SUMMARY STATEMENT

Rebecca Roberts joined the Communication and Journalism faculty as an assistant lecturer in 1999 and was promoted to associate lecturer in 2005. She received her M.A. in Communication in 1995. As the course director for public speaking and interpersonal communication, she directs graduate assistants teaching our basic communication courses. She loves teaching, and teaches courses in interpersonal, public, business and mass communication. She serves as the department's advising coordinator and has won several awards for advising. Her academic interests include teaching and how we create the social realities we live, work and learn in through communication.
