The Center is open to all UW community members: students, staff, faculty and administrators.

When you want to make sure it is right before you give it!
Center instructors offer assistance at any stage in the speech-making process--from topic selection, purpose statements & gathering materials to organizing, outlining and rehearsal. 

When you find yourself thinking: "I'll just skip it if I have to stand up and speak."
Center instructors can help alleviate speech anxiety that may prevent or inhibit some individuals from achieving their overall academic or career goals.
