Cary Heck |
Since the completion of his education, Cary taught Criminal Justice at Boise State University and Arizona State University. He has also worked for the Arizona Supreme Court and the United States Department of Justice. Most recently, Cary served for nearly three years as the Program Director for the Louisiana State Supreme Court Drug Court Office. He also serves as a national consultant on a variety of issues including evaluation research and program management. Cary has been appointed to the Wyoming Governor's Advisory Board on Substance Abuse and Violent Crime for which he currently serves as Vice-Chair. He was also appointed to a Legislative Steering Committee on Drug Courts. Cary currently serves as the Vice-President of the Western and Pacific Association of Criminal Justice Educators. Cary's research interests include policing, juvenile justice, and problem solving courts. Outside of his academic roles, Cary coaches youth football and hockey. He enjoys skiing, camping, hiking, climbing mountains, kayaking, fishing, hunting, whitewater rafting, and riding motorcycles. Classes Taught
