  CJ DEPARTMENT HOLDS SPRING BANQUET

       The Criminal Justice Department held its annual spring awards banquet to honor graduating seniors and scholarship winners on April 22nd. 

   Outstanding graduating seniors were Mary Brown, Margaret Hirchak, Ben Pflanz, and Jolyn Zwemer.  Zwemer was also honored as an Outstanding A&S Graduate at the 2008 commencement ceremonies. 

   Griffith Scholarship Award winners were Courtney Crevier, Nema Koohmaraie, Jeremy Gross, and Danielle Moore.  The John R. Shell Scholarship went to Miles Cushman.

Criminal Justice (CJ) is a social science that critically examines the causes and control of criminal behavior.  The CJ Department is interdisciplinary: criminologists, political scientists, ,sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, and many others contribute their knowledge to the field.
