The Chemistry Department holds an Undergraduate Luncheon for all the departmental majors each Spring. Pictures of previous years luncheons can be seen here. The following awards are given at this luncheon:
It will be a monetary award. The recipients must be in their sophomore year or above and shall have performed substantial research or have demonstrated unusual ability in research and a sincere dedication to science. Recipient(s) shall be selected by a committee of faculty appointed by the Head of the Chemistry Department.
This monetary award is presented to an outstanding Junior chemistry major and recognizes outstanding academic achievement.
This award may be presented to a chemistry major who will be a senior during the following academic year. It consists of a subscription to Analytical Chemistry and an honorary Divisional membership provided by the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry and a Certificate awarded by the Department of Chemistry.
Based upon scholastic record and overall interest in Chemistry. It is awarded to a first year Chemistry major.
(Sponsored by the American Chemistry Society, Wyoming Section) Eligible candidates are nominated by their departments and will receive a one year student membership in the ACS and a subscription to an ACS Journal.
The award is based on a qualifying cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. This certificate award recognizes chemistry majors who have shown a good aptitude, academic performance and potential.
This award is based on a qualifying GPA and selection by a committee. The award consists of honors recognition and certificate, and a gift certificate to the University Bookstore.

A student currently majoring in Chemistry may apply for this scholarship. Consideration will be given to students who probably could not attend college without some outside financial support and who might not be considered for other scholarship awards--GPA is not the primary consideration. Selection will be made by a committee of chemistry faculty (Minimum, $500.00)
This award is based on outstanding female undergraduates in Chemistry.
