The major long-term theme in my research has been the understanding of the structure-function relationship for biologically relevant biopolymers such as metal-complexed antitumor antibiotics and selected anti-malaric peptides. In a broader sense, I am interested in characterizing natural products with biomedical applications. Primary research techniques include, but are not limited to, NMR and EPR spectroscopies and molecular modeling for the study of structure and dynamics. |
