Wider is Better
When you are designing background graphics for your Web site, always remember to make them wide enough to accommodate the widest of monitors. If you don't, your Web site might look a bit bizarre when viewed on these monitors with the window maximized. Also, make sure you define the tables that will contain your text as pixels rather than percentages. Otherwise, the text might spill out onto the background graphic when you maximize the window.
