What to Build on Prime Site Real Estate

When designing a Web site, you pretty much have free reign over where everything will go.  You generally get to determine the color scheme, layout, and general look and feel of the entire site.  However, you should be careful what you put up at the top of the page.  Remember, this is the only part of the page that you know the viewer will see.  For best results, consider this location to be the prime real estate location for university/county identification and navigation.
