Color can be used to highlight messages you receive from a specific individual. This can be your boss or any other person from whom you receive messages. You decide to highlight messages from your boss with the color red.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.

2. Single click on a message from your boss to highlight it.

3. Click Tools > Organize.  The Organize window displays above your messages.  See Figure 1.

4. Click the Using Colors link.

5. In the Color messages area, click the arrow next to the color, and click Red.

6. Click the Apply Color button.

7. Scroll through your messages, and note that all the messages from your boss display in red.

8. Click Tools > Organize to close the Organize window.
