eRecruiting Information

Find a job through eRecruiting

What is eRecruiting? eRecruiting is a web-based database used by the Center for Advising and Career Services (CACS) and Human Resources (HR) to help students in the job search process. CACS advertises co-ops, internships, summer jobs and post-graduate jobs, and coordinates the visits of companies conducting on-campus interviews of students for these jobs. HR advertises student and work-study employment. The jobs posted are on- and off-campus, local, regional and around the nation.

How do I get access to eRecruiting? You will need a username and password to access eRecruiting. See Linda Brooks at the Center for Advising and Career Services, Knight Hall 215 to set up your username and password and to receive a brief overview of eRecruiting. Once you have logged into the system, you may begin the process.

Employers have the ability to search for students via the resume books. To publish your resume in one or more of these books, locate the Publish Resumes section under Documents and click Go. Complete the section as prompted.

You can also search for specific employers by clicking on the Employers tab on the navigation bar.

The Calendar tab on the navigation bar lists, day-by-day, all job opportunities, including resume deadlines and interview dates. The job opportunities consist of all work-study and student employment (listed through HR), and all internships, summer jobs, and post-graduate jobs (listed through CACS). The Calendar also lists other event information, such as Job Fairs and Company Information Sessions.

The Event tab on the navigation bar lists the details of your personal events. Once you sign up for an interview or any other event type, the event is automatically added to the list on your personal events page. You can view your upcoming events simply by clicking on Events.
