TypeFocus Careers




The University of Wyoming Center for Advising and Career Services has purchased a site license to TypeFocusTM, which allows our students free access to the assessments and the various reports.

TypeFocusTM Careers assesses a client's personality type and automatically generates valuable personalized reports which offer insight into self-awareness to assist in the career decision making process.

  • What career choices fit with my personality?
  • How can I improve my chances for getting a job?
  • How can I get along with people better?
  • What are my learning style strengths?

To access this site, please go to the following website and follow the steps below:

Step 1:             New User:       Click to Register

Step 2:             Site Password: Please contact the UW Career Services office for your password.(766-2398)
(You will need to enter in this site password each time you sign on.)

or

Login to WyoWeb and follow these instructions:

Step 3:             Select your own username and password and complete the information requested then click "I Accept" You will be directed to a page to record or print-out the site password and your log-in information. Click to start.

Step 4:             Enter your "W" number and continue.

Step 5:             Click on Personality Questionnaire and take the assessment.

Step 6:             Schedule an appointment with your career counselor/specialist for an interpretation of your results by calling 307-766-2398 or stop by Knight Hall room 222 to make your appointment.
