The Minors Program of the College of Arts & Sciences coordinates elective courses into a focus outside of an undergraduate major.
A grade of "C" or better is required of all courses.
Total Minimum Credits = 18 Hours
Required Courses = 4 Hours from:
Elective Courses = Minimum of 14 Hours chosen from:
1Credit cannot be earned for
both BOT 4680 and BOT 4640
Note that BIOL 1010 is required for BIOL 2023
Total Credits = 20 - 24 Hours
Students who are majoring in Biology, Zoology, Physiology or Botany may not declare a Minor in Biology. Elective credit hours used towards the BIOL minor must be in courses not being counted towards a student’s major. A grade of “C” or better is required in all courses. At least 25% of credit hours for the BIOL minor must be earned in upper division courses.
