UW Writing Center
Located in Coe Library, Room 308. The UW Writing Center
works with writers and instructors across campus at every stage of
the writing process from brainstorming through final edits.
Located on the third floor of Coe Library (take the stairs or
elevator in the front lobby), they''re open Monday - Thursday from
9:00 - 4:00 and Friday from 9:00 - 3:00.
Summer hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00-1:00.

The Math Lab
Located in
Ross Hall, Room 247. The Math Lab provides free assistance
with mathematics to UW students. Priority is given to students
with questions related to algebra, trig, and calculus. They also
help with problems and questions outside this list whenever
possible. Hours are Mondays 9 AM-5 PM,
Tuesdays-Thursdays 9 AM-8 PM, and Fridays 9 AM-1 PM
during the summer.

The Oral Communications Lab
Located in Ross Hall, Room 443. The Oral Communications lab
can help you develop a speech at any stage of the process (from
topic selection to rehearsal) and can help you alleviate speech
anxiety that could inhibit you from achieving your overall
academic or career goal. Hours vary, and are listed on their
website.

The Student Learning Center
Located on the lower level of the Washakie Center, and offers
students assistance in many subjects
including (but not limited to) math, biology, chemistry, physics,
and writing. The
Student Learning Center is open Sunday through Thursday in the
evenings. Hours vary per subject, so be sure to check out
their website.

Student Educational Opportunity
Provides support services to eligible students at the secondary,
post-secondary, and graduate levels. SEO projects work with
individuals who are economically disadvantaged, first generation
college students, ethnic minorities, and disabled to help them
access educational opportunities and to achieve academic success.

The Tutoring Board
A convenient online location for tutoring opportunities on campus.

Counseling Services
The University Counseling Center can provide
assistance for students who may suffer from Text Anxiety, as well as
other problems that interfere with academic progress, daily living,
adjustment to university life, substances, or relationship issues.

Networks (LeaRN)
LeaRN has three jobs:
- We do first and
second year learning communities (like FIGs and Synergy)
- We provide
academic support services (like the Tutoring Board, and
Supplemental Instruction)
- We work to keep your I-Courses
the best they can be!
