The Rochelle Athletic Training Room serves as the main Athletic Training at UW. It is a 5500 square foot facility that first opened in September of 2001. This state of the art facility serves as the central core of UW athletic prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation activities.

The athletic training student assists in the care of injured and ill athletes in the Rochelle Athletic Training Room. Athletic training students practice and master their athletic training skills under the direct supervision of NATA-BOC certified athletic trainers. These certified athletic trainers are also Approved Clinical Instructors and well qualified to teach and evaluate clinical proficiencies and competencies.

The RAC Training Room also houses staff offices and the secretary for the Athletic Training department. There are two MD offices house in the room for MD evaluation of the athlete.

The Athletic Training Student assists in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This modern well-equipped venue gives the student many opportunities to practice and learn these skills.

The RAC has state of the art hydrotherapy equipment, including a deep water running tank.
