James is beginning his first year on the faculty and staff at the University of Wyoming.  He completed his undergraduate education at University of New Mexico where he graduated with his BS in 2003.  He received his MA degree from San Diego State University in 2006.  He received his NATA-BOC certification in 2003. At Wyoming James provides athletic training coverage for the men’s basketball team, supervises athletic training students, and teaches in the Athletic Training Education Program. 
His previous experience includes athletic training and sport coverage as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for  the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europe, the Arizona Cardinals, and internships with the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and the Albuquerque Isotops baseball teams.
