Scott Bennett has been the head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wyoming for six years.  He received his BS degree from University of Mississippi and his MEd. degree from Clemson   University in 1993.

Scott has been part of the strength and conditioning programs at the University of Mississippi, Clemson University, Virginia Tech, and Marshall University before coming to Wyoming.  As a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association he has served on the South Carolina State Board of Director for National Strength and Conditioning Association.  He is a member of the American Drug Free Power lifting Association.

Bennett is a contributing writer for the NSCA Journal.  He has been honored as 1997 Strength Coach of the Year (college division) by Wynmore Fitness Systems.

Within in the athletic training education curriculum Scott serves as a clinical instructor.  He brings a wide area of expertise in strength and conditioning to the athletic training student.  He works the the athletic training student during clinical rotations and during in-service presentations.
