Dr. Phillip Steele joined Gem City Bone & Joint after serving a sports medicine fellowship.

Dr. Steele went to the University of Wyoming for his undergraduate education and then went to the University of Utah for medical school graduating with his MD degree in 1996. Dr. Steele went on to complete his Family Practice Residency at the University of Utah which he completed in 1999. He completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyin, Il in 2000. 

Dr Steele is the Family Practice Team Physician for University of Wyoming Athletes. He very involved in the Athletic Training Education Program.  He has taught in-services and portions of the fourth year General Medical class.  Athletic Training Students perform observations during his training room and office clinics.
