The contractors will continue to work on these items during the next few weeks.

Work on the exterior building and landscaping that is incomplete or was added late in the schedule will be completed as the weather permits. The move into the Data Center is scheduled to occur on Dec. 20 and 27. The interior signs, furniture, and other owner-provided items are being ordered and will be installed as they arrive. Work in the basement mechanical room and utility tunnel includes fire protection piping, chilled water and hot water piping. The majority of this work will be completed this week and during the semester break. Also during the semester break work will occur in the locker room and main corridor.

Honors House -- Punch list items will be worked on over the Christmas break.

Centennial Complex -- The acceptance testing of the fire alarm and pre-action fire suppression systems is complete. Interior punch list items will continue over the next two weeks.

Interior framing continues along with electrical, mechanical and plumbing rough-ins. Drywall is scheduled to start Dec. 15. Exterior site work will continue and will block the south alley at times. The construction completion is scheduled for March 2009.

The UW Physical Plant reports the following activities scheduled for the next four weeks:

Classroom Building -- Work on the sanitary sewer system will begin in west basement mechanical room beginning Dec. 15. The domestic water supply will be shut off and all restroom facilities within the building will be closed. As a result, the building will be closed from Dec. 15-Jan. 2.

Corbett Building -- The handicap ramp at the east entrance will be replaced in the next couple of weeks. The exact schedule will depend on weather conditions. Vehicular traffic disruption will be minimal and pedestrian traffic will be re-routed around work areas.

Half Acre Gym -- Construction continues on the infield heating and cooling system. The sidewalk on the north side of the building is blocked for a construction staging area. Pedestrian traffic has been rerouted to the wide walkway north of the playground. A temporary partition has been erected toward the west end of the infield to protect the public from possible injury while the construction is ongoing. Most work will be completed by the end of December with final items and cleanup being done through Jan. 9.

Half Acre -- Window replacement throughout the building will begin Dec. 20 and continue into January 2009. The exact completion date will depend on weather conditions.
