Required Courses: (6-7 hours)
Two of the following introductory courses: Anth 1100 (4 credits), 1200,
1300, 2000
Electives (11-12 hours from 2000, 3000 or 4000 level Anthropology courses,
with no more than 3 hours at the 2000 level)
**** maximum of 4 hours of Anth 4140, Fieldwork in Wyoming Archaeology, may
be used with the approval of the field school instructor(s)
**** Anth 1100 is an approved SB course; anthropology majors cannot count
this course toward fulfilling the science USP requirement. We propose that
anthropology minors be allowed to count the course toward the USP science
requirement.
The minor gives students exposure to some of the breadth of anthropology, and yet permits them to tailor their minor toward a particular subfield of anthropology.
